Guadiana Masters Order of Merit
I believe I have arrived at a perfect Order of Merit system for the Guadiana Masters.

The following:

A player will score points for the Order of Merit based on his/her Stableford score relative to par.

Eg:

Player 1:
Score: 38 points (par + 2)
Order of Merit Points: 40 (score + 2)

Player 2: 32 points (par - 4)
Order of Merit Points: 28 (score - 4)

I think that this system will benefit those who play regularly, but also allow those who miss a few tournaments to catch up through good play.

Let me know what you think.

Or propose what you believe is the perfect Order of Merit system.

Hi Chris,

I would suggest a format where the aggregate of the best 6 or 8 scores creates a top 8 who would then play off on an agreed date similar to the medal. The only difference being the playoffs would be yellow tees and stableford scoring.
